I see a correlation between Brandon Johnson's "logic" and the "logic" that marches past my apartment in Brooklyn once a week in the form of about ten middle-aged black men wielding "black power" flags. Yesterday's chant went something like this: The po-lice are the enemy. So put the guns down. Against each other.

In other words, stop shooting each other because the police are the enemy. They can't just stop shooting each other because it's....murdering each other? Because that's not nice?

It's Hyundai's fault that they can't stop hijacking cars.

I've read that this group scores high in narcissistic traits. Probably explains the stasis. And the "logic."

I really wonder when someone legally extends Coogan laws to content creators, vloggers, blogger, tic tokers, YouTubers & reality show parents at least in the USA & who work with major media and brands. They are quick to get ESG scored and shove social justice down our throats for made up things adults do that should stay private and that have nothing to do with laundry detergent or diapers.

Zero has been done to make that happen that I am aware of and the courts are slow to address it if it ever does occur. The excuse is that the kids aren't working and that it is just them living their lives. We all know it is staged with camera crews around, edited and reshot over and over. Nobody cares about the kids involved and they sadly get nothing when they are older.

Feminists have been selling their own to just about anyone for the right price, for a very long time but we are all noticing it now. Look at how "pro" owning your sexuality has become a selling point for the adult biz for new talent even though the people running it are all wealthy, often white men. I thought those were the arch rivals? That stuff used to be the bane of feminists.

The right thinks women are private property and the left thinks they are public property. No one wants to admit that they are not property at all, especially feminists, they are Gurl Boss one moment, but then they are Damsel's in distress the next and you never know when it will happen but you better be prepared for either or both to show up and act accordingly.

Our LA politician got her talking points from Chicago, instead of Hollywood elites for a change, we heard the same thing about the rampant car theft and car makers. I bet most of them are using this one to avoid any responsibility for the lawlessness the have cultivated while trying to take more money from someone. They do run some great grifts. I do wonder when someone in the entrepreneur space comes up with a decent, affordable option to public education in this country for people, I know it has been a long time coming.

The DOJ better watch it they are starting to look like they are just pets of whoever likes them at the moment.

In your previous Substack you asked us how we’ve become someone we didn’t expect to be. Your question prompted me to survey my drab collection of habitual gaffes, crusty vintage dogmas, and hobby projects of 'forced teaming.' Perilously late, the mist of ‘progressive’ pieties lifts and clears. The glare cuts hard, but it is better to squint into it. As I await this Sunday's episode of 'Disaffected,' it occurs to me, this clinches it: I'm past the dim decades of bully-appeasing, of not diagnosing the damaging fraudulence you analyze with such discernment. I've become someone unbamboozled enough to cue up ‘Disaffected’ each week. Bring on the parade of 'Borderline glasses': my rose-colored ones are in the trash. [Sun 9/10/23 8:45 pm EST ]

That feels great to hear, thank you. What I want to do--aside from have fun, entertain the audience and myself--is to give people something useful. Real knowledge they can use to discern problem people more efficiently, and be able to shield themselves.

I used to adhere to the basic tenets of feminism, which I suppose was based on a superficial understanding of what they meant. And, I know there are OG feminists who decry what is happening now, but they are in the minority and are being admonished by the current iteration of pick-me handmaidens who claim to be feminists. I want no part of what is going on right now. women themselves are actively prioritizing and encouraging the wants and feelings of men over those of women. So by their own logic... women are "the patriarchy". Women themselves have created this current monster. It's insane.

There is always a portion of the female population that will prioritize men over women. I mean look at all the women that helped their rapist/homicidal male partner accomplish his crimes. I don’t have a good handle on who those women are and what it is about them that compels them to act against their own interests like that.

I dunno. Feminism, to me, is about equal opportunities, and that’s pretty much it. It’s not about tearing men down. Academic feminism apparently got lost up it’s own ass and became a victimhood narrative based on untestable theories. That shit has trickled down into society through airheaded “queer theory” students who still manage to have zero knowledge of either the women’s rights movement or the gay rights movement. Feminism has been turned into a screechy headache that makes no sense and offers no solutions.

It’s hard to have any compassion for the citizens of the cities that elect these clowns. This jackass couldn’t run a lemonade stand and he’s in charge of Chicago? 1st time watching the podcast. Very well done.

Thank you for the call to get back to Old Normal, in whatever way we can manage to do so. Your story about the bike riding goslings rings very true. Children are over watched, overstretched, and completely underprepared for live outside of their McMansions. I loved riding bicycles around the city when I was little...it was pure freedom. No parents, no money, no schedule. We managed. We figured it out. We gained confidence in the process. I hope and pray for children now, and in the future....that they may have healthy ways to gain such life enriching skills.

I’ll make a point never to get raped in Brandon Johnson’s Chicago. He’d probably blame *me* for not wearing a chastity belt or something. Gross.

On another note, we need to start naming and shaming the idiotic women throwing other women under the bus for woke points and ego strokes.

Very disappointed to hear Genevieve Gluck’s reaction. You’re right, she does great work. But it’s perfectly reasonable to point out that the vast majority of those collaborating with this evil ideology are women and that feminism itself went in some toxic directions that bore fruit in gender ideology. The tendency to see men as inherently oppressive and women as inherent victims is just as nihilistic and idiotic as critical race theory’s narrative of “whiteness” oppressing “black bodies”. Victimology leads only to demoralisation and disempowerment of those adopting victimhood as well as conferring upon them unearned virtue and licensing the demonisation of others based on immutable characteristics (like daring to be male).

Many of the collaborators are women, but most of the loudest, most aggressive and actually violent TRAs are men (trans women, see the Reduxx website). Gluck focuses most on this one particular head of the hydra that is trans issues. Many of the earliest voices sounding the alarm were women, mostly on the left; in particular, lesbians have been talking about this for decades.

I agree, there are and have been many women opposing this madness for a long time, decades even (and yes, lesbians among the earliest opponents but also sadly among some of the founders).

Tragically there are multitudes more women collaborating with and enabling this toxic movement, many in positions of authority in the medical, counselling and educational industries for example (where women unquestionably dominate) and in political parties like the Greens.

If you attend a Let Women Speak rally, as I did, you’ll see the vast majority of the “allies” trying to drown out our right to protest are deluded young women. They may not be bashing anyone (though one such woman did assault Fred Sargent in Vermont) but they’re happy to approve the violence of the males in dresses who they idolise.

I’m a huge fan of Genevieve Gluck’s work, it’s groundbreaking, but don’t agree with knee jerk attacks on people making relevant observations just because they happen to be male, and I see this a lot in gender critical circles.

Josh, as a religious person I totally agree with you on the religious exemption. It should be a conscientious exemption- just like with combatant military service.

Bingo! That is exactly the correct definition of feminism. Read my guest post at According to Hoyt: https://accordingtohoyt.com/2023/09/05/the-f-word-by-maryh10000/

Is reduxx worth following for MtF detrans stories, or is it mostly about FtM detrans and "stopping men from erasing women"? I'm following detrans info and detrans voices, because I'm trying to write stories of hope (Other Side section of my substack), but I'm not really interested in FtM detrans, despite having written one short story on that (Braids: gender dysphoria cause). The right has been on that practically from day one, and the left has been building up, so I feel the girls are basically getting the attention they need. What worries me most are the boys and young men. The right prioritizes the girls, and the left is dominated by feminists, who first of all blame the boys for all the predator males "erasing women", and secondly, just reconfirm that yes, masculinity is toxic, so they actually would be "better people" if they were female.

I first heard about Ruby Franke via this podcast and I was really disturbed - sorry about your own abuse as well. Josh, thought you could do the situation below some justice.

" Oklahoma district that hired drag queen to be elementary school principal"

Its as if they know the capture of our institutions are tenuous and they are trying to force it everywhere they can get access to? To see what they can get away with? Couldn't they at least have found someone who didn't have child porn charges? All they could find so they went for the shock value?

"Oklahoma district that hired drag queen to be elementary school principal

The principal of John Glenn Elementary School, Shane Murnan, is a drag queen who goes by the name "Shantel Mandalay," Fox News Digital can confirm. Murnan maintained a separate Facebook page from another called "Shantel Mandalay." According to the page, Murnan was employed as a drag queen at a venue called "The Boom."

The principal also has previous charges for child pornography, which were later dismissed. Fox News Digital found records from over 20 years ago, showing that when the charges were filed, all of Murnan's electronic devices were subject to a subpoena.

In a post on its Facebook page, the district acknowledged the prior charges. It said, "Recently we were made aware of previous charges that were dismissed years ago."

"This individual is not fit to lead a school district," Walters said. "It has to stop"

"We are very excited about his vision for John Glenn and for the community," the district added.

Fox News Digital contacted the district and the principal for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
