Little Mina is Shredder’s little adopted sister. She was the runt of the litter, and was taken from her mother too young. I didn’t do the taking, but I accepted her once it had been done. The runt of the litter, or the screwed-up cat that needs special help, always gets my heart.
One of my former kitties was the runt of the litter, and became gravely ill at one year old. The after spending thousands of dollars, the vet told us there was nothing we could do. But searching on the internet I found a possible solution, and urged the vet to allow me to try. She thought I was crazy but after 5 days of treatment, our Little One was back to normal. He lived to be 19 and made us so happy. He passed in 2018.
I have a thing for little runts, too. Seeing as how I am one, in a way, being an adoptee who was small when my parents "picked me out" (not exactly how it works, but okay).
Eventually, I became much bigger and could definitely hold my own when competing with my siblings.
When I was a kid, I had a cat who had a litter of kittens, all of which we quickly found homes for except one: a little calico one who was forever known as "Little Runt". Eventually, she went to live with a friend's family who lived on a farm. Then one day, Little Runt had babies. Little Runt eventually had many a litter, from what I understand. So, Little Runt was a little hussy. Hahaha.
Aww! I have two feline Overlords too 🐈🐈⬛🐾

So sweet! I have a kitty boy that is the same way with me. I am “Mom” and everyone else is “suspicious” lol
Small sweet family
26 head kisses! That’s a cat that adores you. She’s beautiful.
