You see the man in the moment...not words...but action. Guts and glory.

Courage, fight, and defiance.

Exactly what we want and need right now in a leader.

Indeed we do.

There are those who believe we can remedy our societal dysfunctions through the regular order of our existing institutions ... when they are as irreversibly corrupted as S.H.I.E.L.D. was in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and require the exposure and disruption that Nick Fury was so reluctant to support in that narrative.

Nice People™ who abhor noise, dust, and sweat in their environment, let the rot progress to maintain the status quo. But now is the time to not be so "nice", for our rights - and the well-being of the entire nation; perhaps even the world - are at stake.

Confrontation, dissention, defiance, and disruption of that status quo - with the objective of re-instituting governance that is focused upon its reason for being: "to secure these rights", instead of becoming a stage for Smart People™ and Nice People™ to perform upon and impose their will upon the rest of us as the One True Way - is the order of the day.

President Trump *is* America now. Before yesterday, I supported him. Now, I love him. God have mercy on our country and give us this man as our President that we may stand a chance to fight for what good is left in our country and to rebuild beauty and strength where evil men have destroyed & defiled her.

Dan Bongino Always says campaigns are snapshots and sound bites.

Josh you got to be know you're gonna be hated for this post!

Okay and? People are always mad at Josh. So what.

Geez sorry I said anything.

Not the time for sensitivity, or worrying about what people think. Courage and resiliency are in order.

If evil people who deny reality hate me, well.... then I know I'm doing something right.

I'm not trying to trash the original poster, but this is not helpful at all. Josh doesn't need the warnings. He knows. They hated Jesus for telling the truth and healing on the Sabbath. They always hate truth tellers. The original commenter might not know this, but Josh has already faced job loss and death threats. It's just not helpful necessary to keep telling him that people are going to be mad. The best thing to do is to support him in prayers, financially, and in views. It's not helpful to project your own fears onto someone who's already weighed out the pros and cons of what they are saying.

Agree 100%. I do know Josh's history.

What Trump is, no progressive can comprehend.

Here’s an anecdote I heard years ago, long before he ran, about Trump:

His limo got a flat tire while on the highway. While waiting for assistance, a middle aged couple stopped and asked if he needed help. The guy said he’d change the tire for Trump, and did. Trump thanked them and took their name and number. When he got home, he found out their home mortgage holder and paid off their rather considerable mortgage as thanks.

This is only one of the random acts of kindness I’ve heard about Trump over the years.

Every time I hear a DEMOCRAT mean-mouth Trump, I think of this story. It was one of the reasons I voted for him the first time, and why I’m crawling over glass this time.

I’m in California, sandwiched in between Oakland / Berkeley and San Francisco. It probably makes no difference how or if I vote. It’s a one party state and doesn’t look like it’s going to change. Even so, and despite still not being a fan of Trump, I’ll be voting for him. I’m protesting the lawlessness and societal breakdown of my state and country over the last 4 years. This longtime Atheist is now finding comfort and relief in church. WTF?!

He's a legend in his own time now.

I was just like you. Hated him at first. Felt neutral, and then started leaning towards voting for him. Now, he has secured my vote. They have done everything to try to take this man down, and this was so predictable. The more they try to mess with him, the more fans he gained. TRUMP 2024!

I hate to say it, but I am afraid this is only the first attempt.

I couldn’t agree more! Just saw the NYT report that was in my inbox right above your substack notice. After saying the FBI identified the would-be assassin (who murdered someone else) but not providing the name, the next article was on the AR15 rifle. Because, you know, go right to blaming the weapon as the actual culprit here. Sickening!

It's strange, right? I mean, the guy is the right color for getting his name in the news, LOL.

That's one small chunk out of an ear, one giant step toward Trump coming back to save the country.

"I'm Canadian, and we have our own problematic political figures. However, what we need is a leader akin to Donald J. Trump to straighten out our country. You may not like Trump's personality, but I'd rather have him running the USA than the other candidate, Biden, and his group of supporters. Witnessing an attempted assassination of a political candidate made my blood boil. If anyone was sitting on the fence, this event decides which side you are on."

Salena Zito says it best. Trump supporters take him seriously not literally. Maybe that distinction is too subtle for lefties. I’m guessing it’s to much to expect from Harvard to teach the difference

Hi Josh I had to put my subscription to your Substack on pause because of financial problems, rest assured I will go back to supporting your work, regardless of your views as soon as I can. Here’s my comment: Love him or hate him I have taken the view that we should allow Trump the courtesy to make his case, and have felt that way since he took office in 2017. It really doesn’t matter who or what Trump is good or bad he deserves a fair hearing. As a Libertarian, I watched him give a speech to our convention amid boos and cheers. I was mortified at the utter lack of civility of my fellow Libertarians. Now, after this incident I know he will make good on the promises he made that night to our party. And regardless of our positions on the issues, and for whom we may vote for in November, we should give him our unequivocal moral support.
