At major turning points in my life, there’s usually a song that attaches itself to the moment. Today, it is this one. ’Who am I to decide what should be done? If this is the end, then let it come. Let it come. Let it rain. Rain all over me. Like the tide, let it flow.
I’ve not heard this song before. But, this is how I feel about my role as a physician in this world. The inability to reconcile what I’ve seen the past two and a half years with the certainty that something is very wrong has me doubting every single thing I’ve known about my “calling”....my love, my hobby, my best friend....Medicine. I envy those that are so certain of the “science” - as I am certain of nothing anymore.
I've missed you on Twitter and realized you're one of the only reasons I liked the Demon Bird platform in the first place, lol. Anyway, I'm soooo sorry this is happening and know you'll bounce back like a trooper because you're awesome. :)
Beautiful song - sound sentiments. Resignation is sometimes a rational reaction.

Her back catalog of ballads---most of which you've never heard---is a gold mine.
Largely owing to her own antics, people overlook her musical talent. But Madonna has a God-given ear for melody and emotion.
When you listen to her ballads, you hear a real woman with real emotions that you don't hear on her hits.
