Loved the show tonight, Josh. Very eclectic and fun. I'm inspired to buy a couple of kerosene lamps, I'll start with the first one you presented, simple, sturdy and easy to use. Really great tutorial. Your impersonations were hilarious, too. I can well imagine what a cut up you must have been as a youngster in junior high and high school. Congrats on your 100th show. Very entertaining show - not that they all aren't, but as you proclaimed it was nothing like you've done before. I like the addition of a "now for something different" segment.

I really enjoyed learning about the kerosene lamps! Who knew the thing on my mother's chiffonier was such a snazzy piece of usefulness. I remember her telling us kids about people burning their houses down because they knocked them over, 80's parenting being heavy on those kind of warnings. I am thrilled to hear that the Alladin Lamp company is a surviving and stalwart purveyor of excellence. It is more than the thing itself, it is a declaration of moral goodness and trustworthiness. Dare we hope for a mechanical renaissance in our lifetime?
I was amused to hear you are a fan of Matt Walsh. Isn't that just how it is when people have an appetite for straight up truth? We can appreciate what is despite what is not. This socially conservative Christian admires your bravery to stand on objective truth and defend children who are being groomed for irreparable harm. Love the Gen X nostalgia and the best humour is always dark. May the support for your work grow to be all that you need and soon! Would love to know more about vintage items of enduring value, relics of an era when the golden rule was still in play.
