Josh and Kevin, another great episode. Thank you!

Josh-- "the voice" makes me belly laugh even though you are covering serious topics. Thank you for bringing your sense of humor to such disturbing topics. It makes it digestible.

The hysteria is mind blowing. You have to wonder how these people are able to accomplish the most basic tasks like “bathroom hygiene.”

If AI is erasing the injustices of the past by pretending it didn’t happen, then there’s no axe to grind, right..? Are we good then..?? These people are painting themselves into a corner.

Nope. The narcissist never paints themselves into a logical corner because they don't care about logic as logic exists outside of their ego/ pseudo-reality. There's no gotcha moment, no Mea Culpa, no light bulb going on, never ever, ever. There is only what they need in a given moment. I learned this through 20 years of confusion, frustration and misery from being married to a narcissistic woman.

…that was meant to be positive, if that wasn’t clear. I used to love that guy when I was growing up.

I hate what I’m about to say, but everything I’ve witnessed has lead me to believe that most women are just not cut out for political leadership. Whether it’s due to inherent female nature, or how women tend to be socialized, obviously the word “NO” is just too difficult for them. The women that are well suited to leadership poses a rare combination of high intelligence, extensive life experience/ education, and a more “male” approach to relationships and problems, in that they debate things rationally and without sentiment.

Of course, often those women ruffle male feathers, especially among social conservatives, who I think view women like that as almost unnatural. An analytical, dispassionate woman? Must be a psychopath! I dunno. Sometimes they actually *are* psychopaths, so even those guys are right sometimes.

If women want to prepare themselves and their daughters for positions of public authority, they need to understand that dispassionate debate and informal logic are not native skills for the majority of women. They must be taught. Resilience to hardship only comes from experiencing actual hardship. Standing up against forces of destruction rakes practice! In essence I would really like to see resilience, logic, and debate taught to girls. That’s the stuff that makes good leaders of boys, and even though girls might have to work a bit harder to master them, a girl that motivated to do so most certainly will.

Similarly, I think I’m seeing an equivalent problem with boys who aren’t being taught empathy and gentleness. Those aren’t native skills for a lot of boys. Many boys don’t seem to know how to connect with others at all, much less to a girlfriend. Just teaching a little cognitive empathy can go a long ways.
