I'm so sorry, josh! You have my deepet condolences. This is pain that I and many other know all too well and words often fail in this situation but one thing that was obvious is how special your bond was. It was clear as day in every picture you shared of the two of you. He loved you and he was well loved. And I believe they stay with us and watch over us. You did right by him. Sending you much love and sympathy. R.I.P, Shredder
Truly sorry for your loss, Josh. He knew he was loved, and you gave him a wonderful life. Beautiful tribute to Mr Shredder, a majestic beast and a creature of impeccable taste and character. May he rest peacefully. 🙏
I'm sorry for your loss. People think of cats as standoffish. But they can love as deeply as any dog, in their own weird way. Some are just irreplaceable.
Oh, precious boy.... Celtic prayer: "May the longtime sun shine down upon him. All love surround him. And the pure light within him guide his way Home." Thank you for sharing your handsome boy with us. And for the powerful Ecclesiastes verse and the beautiful Latin RIP. My heart goes out to you and Mina.
Oh Josh, I am gutted. I am so sorry for your loss.
Shredder was a cat who got into your soul.
The pain of losing him is partly because a little part of you died with him… but you will cradle a little piece of his soul deep within you, too, forever.
Cherish the knowledge that you gave this stunning but likely “unadoptable” cat a second chance, and all he knew from his life with you was love, acceptance, appreciation, and understanding until his last day in your arms.
I trust I am not the only one shedding tears with you today. I am so sorry. My friend once said, it somehow gets harder with each passing pet, not easier. I have always loved this scripture about how God takes notice of even what some might call "little things." This is Jesus speaking about his Father: "Two sparrows sell for a coin of small value, do they not? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's knowledge." --- Matthew 10:29
True human - animal bonds are a gift from God and benefit us both. We are now the “parents” of our ninth rescue dog. Some were abused, some rejected and most whose backstories we will always wonder about. But they all came to trust and love us, and of course we loved each of them in return.
My condolences on your loss, Josh. Thank you for sharing your beautiful tribute. Truly you were two souls that found comfort together in this stormy world
Oh, Josh, I’m so sorry your long-loved friend is no longer with you. Yet, Shredder will always be with you, enshrined in your heart and your memories. Gone but never forgotten. For now, let your thoughts dwell on the loving and well-cared for life you gave him when you rescued him from ill-treatment and hardship. Know that the love you gave him was returned in full measure. When the pain of your loss has passed, transforming into bittersweet nostalgia, you and Mina can snuggle and reminisce about your dear companion.
The verse you chose in memoriam is perfect and beautiful and true.
I’m sorry Josh. I know exactly how you feel. Cat love is a special thing.
There is nothing I can say, but I am very sorry, Josh.
I’m so sorry, Josh.

You both are in my thoughts and heart today.
“You don’t ever abandon an animal you’ve taken the responsibility for. He’s yours now.”: perfect. Peace, to both of you.

That’s so lovely. Thank you. We all need to hear that right now.

Oh, Josh I am so sorry. I have no good words, but a heart aching in sympathy & a wish that I could give you a big hug, for what it's worth. 💔
I'm so sorry for your loss. You gave him the best life.
