Thank you for reminding me of my "baby cat", Zeke - bottle fed and just wanted to be wherever his humans were. I think of him so often. I miss his sandpaper kisses and motorboat purr.
When he would gingerly step up on to my chest, snuggle in with his "meatloaf" pose, and begin that oh-so-soothing purr, all was right with my world.

My sweet kitty died two years ago. I miss her every day. She was dumb as a rock, weighed as much as our 15 pound mutt ,but solid and real and she did not put up with anyone’s shit. ( I also love my mutt. Different creature entirely) 😻

Mina was taken from her mother too soon (I did not do that taking).
She imprinted on me and sees me as a parent. She is as physically intimate and trusting as you can find in a cat. And it's me, specifically.
