Hey Josh, have you looked into what's going on in Oregon? Republicans in the Legislature have walked out (going on a month now) to avoid voting on a "reproductive health care" bill. Of the wonderful things the bill does, 1) clarifies that parental consent is not required for children under the age of 15 to get an abortion , 2) allows kids to get all sorts of reproductive health care without parental consent (BUT I think their insurance still has to pay for it!), and 3) expands gender-affirming care for transgenders, including requiring private insurance to cover shit like laser hair removal and facial feminization surgery. I'm impressed with the Oregon republicans. Something you should look into
Yay for truth tellers. Difficult and abrasive is fine, as long as it’s truthful. Let’s get back to valuing truth, honesty, and personal responsibility. Real, genuine kindness would be great, too.
