Courtesy of my friend Holly, this is a cut and paste of her article describing what Disaffected and supporters from the actual gay and lesbian population are doing this weekend to protest the transing of children. It’s going to be huge.
We at Disaffected are hard at work prepping which is why I’m ripping off Holly’s article.
If you want to help this issue, and help Disaffected, the time to do so is now. I am being forced out of my job by a woke cancellation campaign, and things are going to get even tougher.

A major event is happening near me on Saturday, October 1st. Here is the official press release; my comments are below.
Why I Will Not Attend
I try not to let PTSD control me, but this is a step beyond what I’m ready to try to do in the world. The possibility of witnessing or experiencing physical assault, as well as the possibility of damage to my hearing aids (the mob dumped coffee on Mr. Sargeant, but there’s also the possiblity of police showing up with tasers, pepper spray, etc.) — that’s enough reason for me to stay home.
What I’m Afraid Will Happen
As is mentioned in the press release, Fred Sargeant was assaulted at a recent Burlington activist event. Fred is an elderly man who should, by all rights, enjoy a significant level of respect. He is a senior citizen, and he should also enjoy the status of a revered elder statesman — a living legend of gay history. The Disaffected Podcast interviewed Mr. Sargeant here and did a whole episode about the events of the Burlington activist event here. The censors of Big Tech are always a danger, so here’s the Apple podcasts link and here’s the Spotify link.
My friend Josh and his friends, who will be conducting this protest, are neither elderly nor living icons of history. Any crowd willing to assault Fred Sargeant is willing to assault them, too.
The courage it takes to do what they are doing is remarkable.
Why It Matters
There are important issues of freedom at stake for adults. The movement for gay liberation has been essentially taken over by transgender activism, which is why the LGB Alliance was born. The LGB Alliance, of which the Vermont group holding the protest is an official affiliate, was created to protect the rights of same-sex attracted people. I am not same-sex attracted, but from my outsider perspective, it makes sense that many within the LGBT movement are calling for a separation of the LGB from the T. A man who loves, is sexually attracted to, and engages in sexual behavior exclusively with men has few if any overlapping interests with a man who wishes to have his penis inverted in order to physically resemble a woman. Likewise a woman who loves, is sexually attracted to, and engages in sexual behavior exclusively with women has little in common with women who wish to have double mastectomy and take testosterone in order to physically resemble men.
But there are also issues of safeguarding and protecting children at stake. Children are being socially transitioned and, despite activist rhetoric, medically transitioned, including surgeries. This is child abuse. Children, while not blank slates, are malleable and their identities are works-in-progress. Transition solidifies an identity that many would otherwise outgrow, leashing them to the medical and pharmaceutical industries for life.
What You Can Do
If you can make it to Burlington, show up and protest with them!
If you can’t, the Disaffected Podcast, hosted by my friend Josh, will livestream the protest tomorrow on both YouTube and Rumble (please bookmark both; Big Tech hates truthtellers and the YouTube link may disappear). Spread the coverage far and wide on Twitter and all the other social media sites during the protest, and tune in to Sunday night’s show (will premiere at 9pm Eastern on Sunday, October 2) for deeper coverage.
If You Enjoy Standing Up To Bullies….
Josh is presently facing the loss of his day job due to a cancellation mob that is furious over the truths he tells and the stance he has taken in favor of the rights of children, women, and homosexuals. If you are willing to support his work, there has never been a better time. You can gain access to a Discord server (where I regularly hang out, BTW!) for a donation of $5 a month via Patreon, SubscribeStar, or a PayPal donation (send to us at disaffected dot fm). You can also subscribe to Josh’s Substack.
Conclusion
Saturday, October 1 is going to be a big day for children, women, and homosexuals in Vermont. People of principle, acting with courage, are going to go protest the actions of a group doing actual harm, and it may get nasty. These are people willing to dump coffee on the head of an elderly man they would deeply repsect if they had any principles at all, and then physically assault him. What else they may be willing to do to punish those who disagree with them is a disquieting prospect.
But some hills are worth dying on. Some causes are worth taking a beating for. Some things matter that much. We all have to do what we can do.
My friend Josh can be a front-line warrior. May any deity that exists go with him and keep him safe.
I can write, so I have. And I will — I will write about what happens, whatever it may be, in a future essay.
Thank you for reading.
HELP us stand up for kids!
Josh, how can I support your work with a donation? I am already a subscriber but this issue is near and dear to me and I want to help.
It is a new epidemic: Canceldemic. This too shall pass.
